Newcomers & Neighbors of the Deerfield Area (NNDA) was founded in 1949 (as The Newcomers Club of Deerfield) to foster friendship among its members and others in the community, to create a civic interest in our community, and to acquaint newcomers with the advantages of Deerfield.
Fifty-seven years later, the organization is still providing opportunities for all in the community and has expanded its membership to include Bannockburn, Highland Park and Riverwoods. Special events are held monthly in the form of day and evening programs. These events are designed for families or adults and have included such events as pool parties, wine tastings, family picnics, holiday parties, salon night, softball teams, children’s theatre outings, home decorating seminars and many other fun mixers.
